ISCS Named a Top Workplace by San Jose Mercury News

SAN JOSE, CA. - June 22, 2012

ISCS, developer of the SurePower Innovation® Policy Administration Suite for property and casualty (P&C) insurers, has been named one of the Top Work Places in the Bay Area by the Bay Area News Group, in its 2012 employer survey. Using employee feedback on working conditions, direction, execution, career opportunities, management and benefits, Workplace Dynamics, the independent survey reviewer, has determined that ISCS excels in all of these categories. Winners of the award were identified as companies that provide positive, enriching work experiences for their employees.

"We are honored ISCS has been named a Top Place to work in such a competitive environment for technical talent as the Bay Area," said Andy Scurto, ISCS president and founder. "We strive to hire people with a passion for what they do each day. I want to thank our employees for making ISCS a great place to work."

ISCS employees indicated a strong belief in the direction and vision executive leadership had for the company. They saw management as encouraging them to collaborate, be creative, and create a positive workplace. Employee responses showed agreement that management was aligned with the company's customer-centric mission. Comments indicated that employees saw strong positives in ISCS's team approach and in the satisfaction from being part of an effort to develop innovative software that can transform the insurance industry.

ISCS is growing in both number of employees and in successful implementations of its enterprise software at insurance carrier clients. The company will almost double the square footage at its San Jose, CA, headquarters in the next month. "We've more than doubled our San Jose employee numbers in the last two years," notes Tim Shelton, ISCS's executive vice president and CFO.  Shelton reports the company plans to continue to hire JAVA programmers, system architects, insurance business analysts, and project managers with expertise in agile project development.

The Bay Area News Group, which includes the San Jose Mercury News, Contra Costa Times, Oakland Tribune, and San Mateo County Times, published the list of 75 top-ranking companies in the June 17 issues of its associate publications.
